Newcastle vs West Ham – (DRAW) Banker

Rafa Benitez has made it clear about his feelings in regards to Newcastle’s transfers, but West Ham are also struggling, there’s a feling that they won’t put any effort in, and they’re still in pre-season. But this is a game where both teams will think they can get points, the good thing is that if you get the points, you become a very happy squad and you look like you’re about to turn a corner. The opposite is true if you lose. The willingness to not lose from either team is the reason this is definitely going to a draw.

West Brom vs Stoke – (HOME WIN) Banker

Pulis has always had it over Stoke ever since he left them. It’s been 6 games since Stoke last beat West Brom. 6 out of 6 points so far for West Brom, whereas Stoke are a bit dodgy at the back. They’re not the same Stoke side that Pulis created, and I think he’ll know how to pick holes in them like he has done in the past. It feels like an absolute home banker.

Tottenham vs Burnley – (HOME WIN) Banker

I think Burnley will struggle this year, and I think they’ll definitely struggle against Spurs in this game, Spurs will win it, I’m certain of it, they’re a good side, and this Wembley nonsense won’t stop them.

Ipswich vs Fulham – (AWAY WIN) Upset

Ipswich are on fire and no one expected them to be doing as they are this season; granted that they did get a little bit luck against Brentford last time out. Fulham are one of the best teams in the league this season and I can see them as automatic promotion favourites, if not then certainly the play-offs. To me, this isn’t an upset but on paper it is, and so I’m going for an away win.

Manchester United vs Leicester City – (DRAW) Upset

Everyone is raving about Manchester United, yes they look very very strong, but what you’ve seen in the Premier League, it’s extremely tough to beat any team, not just the top 6. Manchester United have won their opening 2 games, but I think they’re going to falter, I think people are getting way too excited over Man Utd – there’s still a lot of good teams, and a lot of good teams that can hurt them, and I think Leicester are one of those teams. They can play on the counter attack very well, Vardy and Mahrez look sharp and they’ve come off the back of a good performance vs Brighton and a very good win against Arsenal. Taking it all into account, I’m going for an upset, I’m going for a draw.

Chelsea vs Everton – (DRAW) Upset

Everton did well against Manchester City, of course Kyle Walker got sent off which made it a little bit easier for Everton. I think there’s a good feeling around Everton, they’re used to playing difficult games, they just had a tough one against Manchester City. Chelsea had a good win, a good tactical performance against Spurs, at home they should be dominating the game against Everton, but I think it’ll be a difficult one, and so I’ve put down a draw. I think Everton will be happy with that and I don’t think Chelsea are as good as the win against Spurs makes them look.
